Where to Enjoy the Season’s First Snowfall in India?

Woollens have been pulled out of wardrobes, with winter spreading its wings over entire North India and mid-plains. In Himalayan states like Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu & Kashmir, winter is reaching to its zenith, as many of the highlands in Himalayan are witnessing slight to moderate snowfall. By the end of the month (November), you may see several places in Kashmir, Himachal and North-eastern states laden with snow.
This is the time when blanket is one of the dearest items, but many of active travellers are curious to witness first snowfall at major tourist spots. If you too are one of them, here are some destinations where you could see snow spreading white beauty all around.
Let’s begin with the northernmost region Kashmir. Here Srinagar, Gulmarg, Sonamarg and Pahalgam are major destinations to see nature’s white shade. These places have been popular for winter sports like skiing. So you would have great fun there. Leh Ladakh tour is however not possible in winters, though this is the region that witnesses the highest snowfall in the state and even in India. manali tour package are available to those looking for winter vacations in this beautiful state.
Manali is the best place to enjoy snowfall in Himachal. The Rohtang Pass ranges witness heavy snowfall, lowering the temperature in Dharamshala and Kullu. Shimla and its adjoining areas feature sporadic snowfall. But if you plan to explore snow only, they are not so popular choices.
The neighbouring Chamba district, including the tribal valleys of Pangi and Bharmour and Pir Panjal ranges, receive moderate snowfall and good place for winter holiday. Ooty in Andhra Pradesh is another good choice for those, want such sort of fancy. Demand for manali hotels increases during dec-end, when the region witnesses first snowfall of the season.  You can also book online pune flights ticket in cheapest price from hungry bags.
