Whether you take an overseas trip with deluxe comforts, or be on an off the beaten path, or anywhere in between, taking care of your health is worthful.  If you don’t feel like healthy and fit enough to face expected discomfort of a travel, you can’t enjoy it to the fullest. If you don’t know if taking this particular meal (obviously hygienic) could result you on rest bed, you’re again not eligible to get the best out of your trip. What does it mean? It simply means that your health is important to avail pleasures from a trip, no matter where you choose to go. A few simple precautions and you are assured of being in a safe zone and the one delightful indeed.
Here’re some basic rules for healthy travel.
·         Consult your family doctor before leaving for the vacation. Get necessary suggestions on what to avoid at that particular destination.
·         Prepare a travellers’ medical kit
·         Keep all necessary medicines along with some generals such as malaria pills, antibiotics, pain-killer and medicine against stomach infection.
·         Keep repellent   against mosquitoes and other insects.
·         Don’t eat unhygienic meal, and avoid dinking water from open sources either.
·         Wash hand before eating
·         Never have unsafe sex – always use protection (condom).
·         Follow the safety rules – never cross speed limit when driving, cross the road with extra care and avoid night outings alone.
·         Beg for medical assistance immediately if you feel need of it.
·         Have a check after returning back
Follow these tips, and you have a safe and enjoyable travel experience. These rules are basic yet important and are applicable for everywhere, whether you’re on manali tour package and Leh Ldakh tour or on a Goa trip. Some travel companies offer tour packages with inclusion of health care and safety assurance. Kashmir tour packages, Kerala packages and packages to some other adventurous destinations often involve such facilities.
