Why
Ladakh has been dubbed as ‘traveler’s paradise’ is not so hard to comprehend
when you’re there. Lure of this unmatched territory is irresistible, and
feeling of being there is beyond any visual description. Tricky highways, vast

Recently,
I took a Leh-Ladakh tour, and what I found about this largest province of Jammu
& Kashmir region is that it’s a place that one should definitely visit, at
least once in a lifetime. Passing through freezing cold streams, breathtaking
landscapes and rugged terrain paths at jaw-dropping altitude make you ride on
roller coaster of thrills, while learning Buddhist in beautiful monasteries gives
a healing exposure. Ladakh is the region where you can expect ice for sure. So you can play with ice, can take some snaps, and
enjoy the nature at its best.
Leh is the major tourist center and an important town of
Ladakh. This beautiful town consists of monasteries, gompas, lively markets
laden of local artifacts and handicrafts and low-roofed houses, which combined
give it a unique lure to offer its visitors. Locals are warm and friendly, and
are always ready to help visitors. Ice-capped mountains in the background add more
to this marvelous jewel of Ladakh
tourism.
Well, one important thing I want to put here as advice is –
take some time to acclimatization before going to some outdoor activity during Leh
Ladakh tour. At an altitude of about
16,000 feet, it’s common to feel headache, body pain or some other problems
like acute mountain sickness. So if you’re the one
with some serious health issue, avoid visiting Ladakh. Today, several companies
