India’s Top Religious Destinations that You Must Visit At Least Once

Jagannath Puri: An adobe of lord Jagannath, Puri is a coastal city in Indian state of Orissa. Veshno Devi: the second most visited pilgrimage site in India, Veshno Devi shrine near Katra is where Goddess Veshno is worshiped in forms of pindees. The temple is situated at a high elevation of about 5500 feet above sea level, and one needs to trek 13km uphill to reach there. Even after, a large number of Hindu devotees visit this magnificent temple. Those who visit the temple once don’t have reason to ask why Katra hotels are in so much demand.  
Sirdi: built over the Samadhi of Shri Sai Baba: a great sufi saint of modern India, temple of Sirdi is equally sacred for both Hindu and Muslims. The small town of Sirdi is located about 296 Km from Mumbai, and is thronged by thousands of devotees year-round. Sirdi hotels are well maintained and offer comfy stay at reasonable rates. Most often a trip to Shri Sirdi sai is attached with a tour to shri shani shingnapur temple in Ahmad Nagar district.
