Why Delhi is Such a Global Tourist Destination?

Recent study says that Delhi is the India’s most favoured destination amongst International travellers. It comes as surprise for many of those who have heard about the City’s infamous road jams, rising population and crime-infested streets. No doubt the above mentioned negativities are the part of Delhi’s mundane life, but there is still a lot in its cusp making such a global tourist destination.

First of all, I would like to talk about its tourism attractions, which are so diverse and immense that each corner of the city is tourist-favoured. Gorgeous Red Fort in North, stunning Lotus Temple in South, ancient Qutub Minar in East and modern architectural wonder Laxmi Narayan Temple (Akshardham) in West – the entire city is packed of iconic tourist spots. Additionally, there is President House, shopper’s heaven Connaught Palace and a plenty of museums to make travellers addicted of Delhi very soon.

Delhi has an entire range of hotels, and accommodation has never been a problem for travellers, no matter what they are seeking for. The ones whom luxury and utmost comforts remain the priority can choose to stay in top hotels in Delhi, while the ones on limited budget can book their space in mid-range Delhi hotels. Excellent dining avenues and a plethora of nightlife options give the city a pinch of vibrancy and vigor.

Transportation is the basic need of tourism, and the capital city has no dearth of quality transfer options. There is the DMRC, which connects the entire urban center smoothly. Apart from that, excellent network of DTC buses ensure easy transportation at affordable rates. For those looking for private and hassle-free ride, there is availability of private taxi and car rentals.
Since a large number of backpackers throng to the Indian capital year-round, it’s advised to book Delhi hotels, flights and other services well ahead. Nowadays, deals for hotels include Chandigarh hotels and shirdi hotels can be booked through web.
