3 chief precautions to take while going on a holiday

Whether you are going to Mysore or to Goa or some metro city like Hyderabad, it is important that you take some precautions for safety purpose and to avoid unwanted hassles. Of course, the hotels at these places will serve you with all basic facilities like plug points for chargers and even WiFi, but a few things better be carried:
i.                    Identity card: If you get embroiled in some tussle or some crime in an unfamiliar area, then you will have to show your identity proof. Having your ID card with you is always a big relief, since that proves your genuineness. Besides, some institutions may require you to flaunt your ID cards just for verification purpose. Even while flying on planes and while traveling on trains, it is very important that you can show your ID card. Some top-notch Goa hotels also ask for some sort of proof before allowing you to take part in casinos or to enter the bars.
ii.                  Medical kit: It is important that you carry a small medical kit with you. Quite often, traveling can take a toll on the health of the kids and even the grown-ups can be vulnerable to climatic changes or pressure drops owing to high altitudes. In an unfamiliar place, you may find it difficult to get medical help instantly, though the managers at the Mysore hotels and Hyderabad hotels would surely come to your rescue. Nevertheless, do carry the basic medicines for indigestion, vomiting, headaches, cold, cough and fever.
iii.                Pepper spray: Crime against women has become very common even in the most developed parts of the world. If you are a woman and are traveling alone or in a group with other women, it would be really advisable to carry a pepper spray. These are easily available in stores these days and can help you escape a sudden attack or molestation.
